Battle Cry of Freedom

A two-player card game depicting the American Civil War across the Eastern and Western theaters from 1861 to 1865. Players use separate Union and Confederate decks featuring key generals and historical events. The Union seeks to capture Richmond, Atlanta, and Vicksburg, while the Confederates attempt to prevent these objectives. Cards provide resource, battle, special, and strategic movement events, with each card offering several possible choices. Players maneuver toward battlefields, conduct turning movements, retreat, and shift initiative before resolving battles with a tactical element. Strategic and political concerns remain part of the conflict, supported by 300 Union, Confederate, and Battle cards.
