Bellum Gallicum II

A historical simulation of Julius Caesar’s campaigns in Gaul from 58 to 51 BC. One player commands the Roman forces, Gallic allies, and German mercenaries, while the other directs the Gallic tribes defending their independence. Nine scenarios each cover an annual campaign in its historical context. The campaign game links these scenarios into a series of yearly campaigns, with the Gallic player choosing whether to revolt or remain at peace each year. Victory is determined by campaigns won, though the game can end early when decisive victory conditions are met.
