Boudicca: The Warrior Queen

This historical wargame covers Boudicca’s revolt against Roman rule in Britain in 61 AD. One player commands the forces of the Celtic tribes, seeking to capture settlements, burn towns, and inflict enough losses to drive the Romans from the island; the other commands scattered Roman troops and attempts to suppress the rebellion. The game uses card-driven play, a map showing the period road network and tribal centers, and counters representing the opposing forces. Streamlined mechanics and scenario possibilities explore both the historical campaign and alternate outcomes, including whether London is destroyed or defended.
