By Iron and Blood: The Battle of Koniggratz

A two-player wargame depicting the Battle of Koniggratz, the decisive engagement of the Austro-Prussian War in 1866. Prussian and Austrian forces contest control of the German states in a battle involving more than 450,000 men. Players command the opposing armies as the Prussians advance with the 1st and Elbe Armies while awaiting the arrival of the 2nd Army. Austria must use its prepared positions and North Army to defeat the Prussian forces before their reinforcements close the battle from the north.
