A two-player wargame depicting Jackson’s flank attack at Chancellorsville on May 2, 1863. The Confederate player attempts to overwhelm Hooker’s unsuspecting army, while the Union player regroups, holds the Chancellor House, and counterattacks Lee’s outnumbered forces. The game uses an accessible, old-fashioned beer-and-pretzels system without detailed command, control, or supply rules. Players maneuver formations and resolve combat in a streamlined adaptation of the intermediate system from Avalon Hill’s Gettysburg.
