Dawn: Rise of the Occulites

In the Australian bush, a child discovers a new species from beyond this world. Players lead small tribes of Occulites through campaign scenarios as they struggle to survive, learning abilities and traits from their surroundings. Actions can make a tribe stronger or weaker over the course of the campaign, while standalone games allow players to select their specialities before play. This skirmish miniatures game uses the Natural Selection Deck to activate tribe members, resolve movement through terrain, and determine combat. Scenarios focus on varied objectives such as collecting Sungems, recruiting Luftles, claiming caves, cooperating against predators, and protecting territory.
