DNA: The New Origin of Species

Players act as scientists crafting DNA sequences to evolve and introduce Earth’s creatures onto a distant planet. On each turn, players either prepare projects—drawing and placing multi-colored gene tokens or acquiring new DNA project cards—or populate creatures by completing project cards and placing species onto modular regions of the board. Creatures score points by matching gene colors to region colors or favored habitats, and many grant instant or ongoing abilities that affect play. The game ends after a player finishes their final project; final scoring counts population, creature abilities, sets, and remaining gene tokens to determine the winner.
