Drop

A semi-freeform storytelling game about a starship crew summoned to a mysterious planet. Players first establish the story’s basic parameters, then write through four acts as their crewmembers descend to the surface, explore a strange landmark, and flee from an unnamed horror. The game is collaborative rather than competitive, with players discussing the developing story and controlling one character each, though they can still create problems for one another. It can also be played solo by taking on all the characters’ roles.
