Filipino rebels fight Spanish forces during the Philippine Revolution of 1896–1898. One player commands the Spanish forces seeking to retain control of the colony, while the other leads the rebels and, if American intervention occurs, the United States Army. Players conduct military operations, manage resources, and make strategic decisions while using event cards representing disease, ambushes, assassinations, and reactions from the American press and government. Victory depends on controlling the Philippines, sustaining the colonial economy, or defending Filipino independence against Spanish and American forces.
