Floating Underworld

Set in Edo in 1867, this game takes place amid smallpox, cholera, political upheaval, and the arrival of foreign warships. Beneath the official struggle for Japan’s future, gambling dens, brothels, theatres, and post stations become gathering places for a supernatural revolution. Players take part in this nocturnal underworld, pursuing influence and indulging forbidden ambitions among the living and the Dead. The setting combines historical turmoil with undead intrigue and competing visions for the nation’s future.
