Granada: Last Stand of the Moors – 1482-1492

The last years of the Reconquista, from 1482 to 1492. A two-player war game about the Catholic Monarchs’ campaign against the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. Players move armies and fleets across a point-to-point map, raise troops, defend castles and watchtowers, and manage cards representing different nationalities and clans. Battles depend on committing the right forces, while cavalry, crossbows, artillery, sieges, naval control, diplomacy, and internal divisions shape the struggle. The Catholic player seeks to conquer Granada, while the Nasrid player works to resist the invasion and preserve the kingdom.
