Heroes of the Colosseum

Players take the roles of gladiators or charioteers seeking fame, fortune, and ultimately freedom in the Roman Empire. Gladiators fight across three locales, while charioteers compete in races at the Circus Maximus. Characters and horses can be customized with abilities and equipment, and campaign rules track their progress over multiple contests. Combat and racing use dedicated arenas, a racing oval, roster sheets, and mechanically controlled non-player opponents. The game supports solo play against the game system, cooperative play, and competitive matches.
