Of Stave, Stone, and Heart: A Guide to the Runes for Game Master
A 16-page guide for game masters running northern-themed campaigns in Pathfinder and other d20 systems. It presents the 24 elder runes, with skill and spell associations for lesser and greater versions, and discusses the Grand Galdr and the runes’ roles among elves, dwarves, and giants. The guide offers advice for incorporating runes into a setting, two methods for allowing any class to learn to read them, a new spell, seven runestones for controlling the battlefield, and the Vitkarr runic prestige class. It also includes setting-specific guidance for Rhune: Dawn of Twilight and evocative artwork.
