On Fire!!!

Players control employees in a burning office building and try to get as many survivors to the exit as possible. Each turn players play cards from a hand to move, push, jump on teammates, run down stairs, or call the fire brigade, using actions to optimize escape routes and block opponents. The game resolves simultaneous movement and conflicts as fires spread and spaces become hazardous, forcing tactical choices about positioning, cooperation, and disruption. Victory goes to the player with the most employees who reach safety.

A quick and fun game, highly thematic and interactive. Perfect for a party or a bar, less than an hour. No really fan of this kind of games, but this one has suprised me. You really feel trying to flee from a fire, which is ripping through a building, when many people on panic are competing for using the elevator or the stairs. By using action cards, you may move your people, use the elevator, give a push to a rival character, etc. At the end, the player who managed to save more characters wins. It reminds the classical disaster film The Towering Inferno (1974), but with a comical cartoon twist.
