Open Sesame

Players reenact a retelling of Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves as a push-your-luck memory game. Each round one player is Ali and the others are thieves. Thieves take turns reciting an ever-growing sequence of treasure items from memory, adding pressure as the list lengthens. Ali decides after each complete cycle whether to continue tempting fate or to stop; pushing too far risks losing the haul and letting thieves claim the treasures. Variant rules support two-player play by adapting roles and turn structure.
