Allied operational planning and logistics against German defensive command during the Normandy invasion and battles that followed from June to August 1944. Players maneuver divisions and army corps, manage supply networks and reinforcements, plan strategic operations, and use doctrine, supports, and event cards to influence combat. Monthly planning and weekly turns emphasize intelligence, timing, command structure, and fog of war, with hidden unit values and simultaneous combat card reveals. Scenarios cover June, July, August, and the full campaign, with victory determined by territory, resources, morale, and the time gained or lost.
