Ratcatchers

A group of novice adventurers begins by clearing rats from a tavern cellar, then follows the threat into an uncharted forest. Across a 4–6 hour one-shot for four to five level 1–2 characters, the party investigates, travels, and faces a swarm of strange Brainium Rats. Designed for newcomers, the adventure combines horror and comedy, with body transformation, cramped spaces, rat-based creatures, and battle maps for virtual tabletops. It includes guidance for creating were-rat hybrids from other beasts, including rat-bunnies and rat-pigeons.
