Reconquista

A strategy game set during the 11th-century wars between Muslim and Christian kingdoms in Spain. Players represent Castilla y León, Aragón, Sevilla, or Zaragoza and compete to control territories across the Iberian Peninsula. Over 10 rounds, players collect income, recruit troops, build castles, pay ransoms, and manage vassalage. Each player commands two armies led by a king and a principal vassal, moving them to conquer territories, fight battles, and besiege castles. Auctions determine turn order, while Reconquista cards introduce historical events. Victory points come from battles, successful sieges, and resolved events; the first player to reach the required control position and win another conflict claims victory.
