Second World War at Sea: Strike South

Japan’s naval offensive in the opening days of World War II, as forces move to seize the rich resources of the Dutch East Indies. Players command major fleet units, aircraft, smaller warships, and markers across operational maps of the South China Sea and East Indies. Fifteen scenarios cover actions including the loss of HMS Prince of Wales, the Battle of the Java Sea, the Battle of Sunda Strait, and the Japanese invasion of the Philippines. Fleet encounters move to a tactical hex map, where attacks are resolved with dice rolls, weapon types, armor, and damage boxes.
