Golden Age of Piracy: 1718

An open-ended, old-school tactical solitaire game of piracy, action, and adventure, set in the Caribbean during 1718. Players take the role of a pirate captain, moving a ship across the map to attack merchant vessels, raid towns, search for buried treasure, and pursue other opportunities for wealth. Goods can be sold in Nassau, where the ship can also be repaired, while a hidden pirate haven provides storage and free repairs. The game combines board-wargame and RPG elements as players build enough wealth to purchase a pardon before the Royal Navy invades Nassau.
