The Near East

A World War II expansion covering Asiatic Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Western Iran, and the surrounding region. Three maps depict the area at the standard Europa scale, with terrain ranging from desert and marshes to mountains, forests, and coastal lowlands. Counters represent the armed forces of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Egypt, along with British and Indian units. Air units are organized by type and aircraft model, while naval units represent major warships or flotillas. Charts provide orders of battle, and included guidelines support combining the module with Western Desert.
