Thornwatch

The Eyrewood is protected by spirits of vengeance, summoned through a ritual that binds them to a tree with a knot of thorns. One player serves as the Judge, guiding the story, while the others portray scarred Thornwatch veterans such as the Blade, Briarlock, Greenheart, Guard, Sage, or Warden. Players explore illustrated maps of forests, swamps, and villages, resolving conflicts across branching comic-book-style storyboards. Character decks provide skills and actions, while custom dice and traits shape each hero’s abilities. The momentum system tracks turn order and enemy health, creating changing priorities that reward teamwork during combat.
