Ukrainian Crisis & The Little War

Political-diplomacy-military simulation of the 2014 Ukraine crisis, paired with a smaller game about the 1939 border war between Hungary and Slovakia. The Ukraine game models diplomacy, propaganda, international prestige, and military force through event cards and limited Resource Point chits. Players allocate resources among competing activities, with earlier commitments shaping the options available later; the crisis may remain political rather than become an armed conflict. The second game is a more direct military engagement driven by a standard deck of playing cards. Six cards are drawn each turn, assigning movement and combat opportunities to the two sides.
