Until the Bitter End

A print-and-play World War II skirmish wargame for two players or solitaire, featuring small squads of British Airborne troops fighting German forces across compact scenarios. Each counter represents an individual soldier in close, man-to-man combat. Players draw activation chits at random to determine which infantry units act, choosing actions such as movement, firing, charging into close combat, first aid, or clearing a jammed weapon. Combat uses range, line of sight, and modifiers, with snap fire allowing units to react to moving enemies. Bravery Points can force enemy re-rolls, but are reduced when those attempts fail. Solitaire play includes step-by-step German AI rules and dedicated scenarios.
