Bitter Woods: Designer Edition

Two-player operational wargame covering Germany’s December 1944 Ardennes offensive and the Battle of the Bulge. Players command primarily regimental and brigade-sized units across a winter battlefield, managing mechanized exploitation, reserves, fuel, artillery, air power, bridge demolition, and other historical events. Scenarios include the Kampfgruppe Peiper breakout, Skorzeny infiltration, Patton’s relief of Bastogne, and an extended campaign featuring the Allied counterattack. Each turn represents 12 hours, with hexes covering approximately two miles.
