The Mighty Endeavor

A strategic-level wargame covering the Western Allies’ invasion of France in 1944, the Rhine crossings in early 1945, and the final push into Germany, with an optional extension of the Eastern Front and a small Brittany map attachment. Players allocate amphibious landings along the French coast, maneuver corps- and division-scale units across a hex map, conduct offensives and river crossings, and contest industrial objectives along the Rhine. Two-player play splits control responsibilities: one player manages Western Allies plus East Front Germans, the other manages Russians plus West Front Germans, so each player fights on both offensive and defensive fronts simultaneously. Scenarios permit different campaign start dates, including a Bulge start, and turns represent roughly 10–15 days on a 15-mile hex scale.
