Braccio da Montone

This historical wargame recreates the battles of Sant’Egidio (1416), where Braccio da Montone became Lord of Perugia, and l’Aquila (1424), where he was defeated and mortally wounded. It uses maps at a scale of 100 meters per hex, with units representing cavalry, infantry, and militia. There are no fixed turns. Instead, players activate Condottieri continuously, spending Command Capacity to move, fire, and attack with units in their Battaglia. Fatigue accumulates during the battle, while special rules represent the tactics of the Scuola Braccesca. A Victory Level system creates uncertainty over when the battle will end.
