Cauldron: Battle for Gazala

This historical wargame depicts the Battle of Gazala in May 1942, as German and Allied forces maneuver across the North African desert. Players direct armored and infantry formations, attempt to outflank defensive positions, and fight for control of the area known as the cauldron. The Fire & Movement combat system allows units to receive limited support fire from mortars, howitzers, and other assets during attacks. Formations can suffer casualties and become reduced, while attritional combat results reflect the heavy losses of the campaign. Success depends on maneuver, firepower, and careful management of supporting units.
