The Mines of Zavandor

Develop a dwarf clan’s mines by collecting gemstones, winning new objects in simultaneous four-way auctions, and upgrading dwarves, mines, objects, and victory points. Four different gems serve as currencies, with income drawn from four mines according to their individual card distributions and the upgrade level of the dwarves. Special cards require changing upgrade conditions as the King travels through the mountain. The winner of the sapphire auction determines the next destination, while players choose between shorter and longer routes to the Coronation Chamber. The game lasts 10 to 12 rounds.
