1824: Austria-Hungary
A railway-building and share-dealing game set in Austria-Hungary during the development of its rail network. Players lay yellow, green, brown, and grey tiles to connect stations, then run train cards between them to generate revenue based on the number and importance of the stations served. Players can hold shares in Mountain Railways, Coal Railways, National Railways, and Regional Railways. Shareholders own the major companies, while the player with the largest holding becomes Director and decides how the company operates. At the end of the game, the player with the greatest combined wealth in cash and shares wins.
