Distilled
Manage a small distillery by acquiring ingredients, upgrading equipment, and assembling recipes to produce spirits. Players buy goods, add upgrades to their facility, and choose when to distill and send batches to the warehouse. Aging mechanics and bottling convert distilled spirits into sellable products that score points. Gameplay mixes resource management with push‑your‑luck decisions about when to distill and how long to age bottles. The player with the most spirit points from distilled and sold products wins the game.

Garfield7.0 Hi Florian :D I'm a little bit ambivalent about it. On the one hand I like the theme and the game play but on the other hand it can be very frustrating if all other player are always buying the bottles before you have a chance. I'm also a little bit disappointed about the distilling mechanism. You can only distill 1 liquid and I think it's not worth doing it. You get a lot of money but a few turns too late. You urgently need the money at the beginning, not in the 5th or 6th round. Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Can I distill more than one spirit in the Distill Phase?
No — you can only distill one spirit per round because all cards placed in your washback are used to form a single spirit stack (p.6).
Do I have to sell non‑aged spirits immediately?
Yes — any recipe with the non‑age icon must be bottled and sold in the same round it is distilled, while recipes with the age icon must be aged at least one round (p.7).
If cards get removed as the top/bottom during distillation, do those sugars still count for the recipe?
No — you remove the top and bottom cards and return them to your pantry before checking recipes, so removed sugars do not count and can cause you to fail a higher‑requirement recipe (see distill steps and the Rum example) (pp.6–7).
How many basic market cards can I buy in a single Market Phase?
You may only purchase up to two cards from the basic market each round; the rulebook suggests keeping purchased basic cards face‑up in front of you to track this limit (p.6; commonly forgotten rules p.9).
What happens if there are no spirit labels left for a spirit I distilled — do I still get the label bonus when selling?
You can still make that spirit, but if no labels remain you will not be able to claim a spirit label bonus when you sell it (p.6), and selling normally requires placing the spirit's label to gain the bonus (p.7).
I distilled an aged spirit in the final round — can I sell it that game?
No — if you distill an aged spirit in the final round you must age it and cannot sell it that game, but it still scores SP at endgame (including 1 SP per flavor card present) (pp.8–9).
