Players act as foremen directing teams of navvies building railways through Mid and North Wales. Each turn they play from a small hand of action cards to collect resources, remove rubble, lay track, and construct stations while moving crews along the map. The game emphasizes tactical decision-making in a two-player duel where accumulating victory points from construction, completed lines, and situational bonuses determines the winner.
