Golems

Players collect cards from a shared grid using Gems to manipulate which cards are available and to deny options to the opponent. Collected cards include Golems, Gems, and Runes, and players decide each turn whether to use cards as resources, take their immediate bonuses, or spend them to summon Golems. Summoning a Golem requires discarding matching resource cards beneath it; discarded cards still score at game end. Runes can be spent for extra points if the player holds enough Gems, and Gems grant bonuses or contribute to set-collection scoring as Gem dust. The game ends when a row cannot be refilled. Players score points for summoned Golems, tucked resource cards, Gem sets, and Runes to determine the winner.

2- player draft game with double-use cards. PROS - Interesting draft idea creating some tough decision points. - Short playing time. - Amazing artwork and production values. CONS - The design feels like not letting any player fall behind, which kinda allows you to play semi-automatically. It does not feel like it really punishes bad plays, so many decisions feel lighter than I'd like. - Some iconography is not as functional as it should be.
