2020 · Card Game
Space Lunch
Players take turns drafting food cards from a shifting tableau and collecting beverage cards to trigger one-time abilities. Each turn has a beverage phase, where three identical beverage cards can be spent to activate that drink’s power, and a food phase, where the active player picks the food card in the column indicated by a moving pick token and also takes its corresponding beverage. The pick token advances right after each selection and wraps from the rightmost column back to the leftmost. Play ends when a player assembles three sets of three identical food cards, or when only six food cards remain in the grid; in the latter case the player with the most pairs of matching food (with triples excluded from pair scoring) wins.

Little and simple 2-player card game PROS - Really simple rules, incredibly easy to teach and learn. - Relaxed and fast play rhythm. - Amazing artwork and overall production. CONS - The game feels like it's won because of the opponent losing, more than because of you making a winning move. - At some points, the game feels semi-automatic as decisions may not seem relevant (or feel obvious).
