Honga

A prehistoric saber-toothed tiger clan seeks a new leader; players compete to earn the tribe’s favor through resource management and tactical actions. On a central board, players place and rotate action cards to allocate a limited number of action points to spaces that gather supplies, explore the dark forest, perform rituals for the old nature gods, lure mammoths, and complete trade agreements with other clans. The number of hands pointing to a space determines how many times that action can be used each round. One action space represents the tiger’s den: if no action point is allocated there, the tiger steals food. Players balance denying the tiger with pursuing multiple paths to victory over a 45‑minute game for 2–5 players.
