Jolly & Roger
Two rival pirate captains compete over four merchant ships by recruiting colored crew and capturing gold. On each turn the active player draws five pirate cards and splits them into two sets; the opponent chooses one set and the splitter takes the other. Players place matching-colored crew on ship rows to build power, place or displace captains when they lead a ship, and spend further cards to plunder gold from ships. After eight rounds, captains on ships provide endgame bonuses and the player with the most gold wins. An expert variant adds Kraken, Skeleton Pirate, and Tortuga special cards.
