Lying Pirates: The Race for the Pirate Throne
Players act as ship captains racing across a map while managing a crew represented by dice. Each round has three phases: a betting phase where players bluff and bid about their hidden dice in a mechanic inspired by Liars Dice; a sailing phase in which all but the round loser advance and resolve the tile or event they land on; and an action phase where players spend cards to attack, defend, or upgrade their dice crew. The game ends when one or more captains reach the Start/Finish tile and any necessary final contests determine the winner. Optional variants and asymmetric captain abilities alter setup and strategy.
