2005 · Dice
Roma
Players vie for influence in a city torn by political and military conflict, using characters like consuls, tribunes, towers and praetorian guards to shape outcomes. Each turn players place cards at numbered dice stations (1–6) and roll dice to activate the stations where cards sit; activated cards perform effects that generate money, manipulate other cards, or award victory points. A fixed pool of victory points determines the endgame: once they are all claimed, the player with the most points wins. Optional integration with a sequel adds alternate setup and play options.
