2025 · Card Game
Echoes of Time
Players recruit a fellowship from four elemental factions—ocean depths, winds and forests, night skies, and underground tunnels—and build a deck of character and effect cards each game. Gameplay revolves around capturing hidden energy sources that grant influence over the flow of time: cards have unique effects and take variable time to become usable, tracked by a sliding-tile timing system that also governs activation rhythms. Players deploy characters, contest sources, and manipulate timing to chain abilities and disrupt opponents, with over a hundred cards offering varied strategies across 2–4 players.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Do cards on my Time board count as part of my Fellowship or give their effects?
No — cards on the Time board are not considered part of your Fellowship and you cannot use their effects or icons until they are summoned into your Fellowship (played directly to position 0 are summoned immediately). (page 5)
When do the Time tiles slide and when are cards summoned — and what if two cards leave the board at once?
At the start of the round’s Time phase everyone simultaneously inserts the off‑board Time tile on the left, pushing tiles right; any cards on the tile that leaves the board are summoned into your Fellowship, and if two leave you choose the order to summon them. Immediate effects from summoned cards (and permanent effects that trigger) are resolved now. (page 4)
What if the Time tile I must place a card on already has two cards on it?
Each Time tile can hold a maximum of two cards; if the indicated tile already has two cards, place the card on the first available tile to the left that has fewer than two cards. (page 5)
Can I fortify a Source immediately when I conquer it or fortify a Source I don't control?
No — conquering and fortifying are separate actions, so you cannot fortify a Source you have not previously conquered or fortify it in the same single action as conquering; to fortify you must meet the II strength requirement and perform the Fortify action. (pages 5–6)
If I place Creature cards under a Source, do they still provide effects, strength, and count for scoring?
When you place Creatures under a conquered Source (top visible), you cannot use their effects but their top‑icons (cost, faction, type, specialization, strength) remain active and they still count for end‑game VPs; when you fortify a Source you slide creatures completely beneath it and they no longer provide effects or icons, though they still count for scoring. (pages 5–6; moving creatures under a Source is also allowed as a free action but not if they have an Activation token). (pages 5–7)
