UNO

Players race to empty their hands while opponents score points for cards left unplayed. On a turn, a player may play a card that matches the top of the discard pile by color, number, or action word; if unable, the player draws one card and passes if still unable to play. Special cards and wild cards alter turn order, force draws, or change colors to disrupt opponents' plans. Rounds continue until a player has no cards, and points are tallied from remaining cards. This is a commercial adaptation of the public-domain Crazy Eights mechanic and includes all themed variants that use the standard card set.
