Girl Genius: The Works – Castle Heterodyne

A non-collectible card game set during Agatha’s time in Castle Heterodyne and the early days of Mechanicsburg. Each player builds a score pile by revealing and rotating cards in a patchwork layout, matching colored symbols along their edges to pop surrounding cards and resolve their effects. Cards from hand replace those removed from the layout. The Castle Heterodyne deck features Prisoners and Minions. Collecting four Prisoners can provide an alternate victory condition, though some disrupt the board, hand, or score pile. Minions combine helpful and harmful effects, with other cards supporting them. Standalone decks can be played separately or combined for larger games.
