Players take the roles of investigators piecing together enigmatic deaths from past cases. One player leads a particular case while the others ask questions and contribute creative, freeform clues that individually mean little but collectively reveal motives, relationships, and critical details. The lead listens, guides the inquiry, and judges when the group reaches a convincing solution; all players win or lose as a team. The game emphasizes cooperative deduction, storytelling, and open discussion as players assemble a web of evidence to reach their shared ‘eureka’ moment.
