Players navigate a river adventure toward Beaver Paradise by predicting whether the next card is higher or lower than the previous one. Correct guesses move a beaver forward, while incorrect guesses send it back to its dam. Players may continue guessing to advance farther or call “dam!” to secure their progress. Hidden danger cards can wash a dam back several spaces, adding risk to each journey.
