Archie's War: The Battle for Guadalcanal

Relive the Battle for Guadalcanal in solitaire or against an opponent. As the American commander, defend Henderson Field and hold the island against Japanese troops, naval bombardment, and attacks on the runway. In the two-player game, one player commands the Japanese forces attempting to retake Guadalcanal, while the other leads the Marines in holding the airfield. Use jungle cover, artillery, tanks, aircraft, and naval support as forces arrive and maneuver around the Marine perimeter.
