Arkham Express

Players work cooperatively to gather clues, defeat monsters, close gates, and ultimately confront Cthulhu. Each player selects a character with a unique ability and rolls five symbol dice, with up to three rerolls. Monster symbols are locked, and rolling three opens a gate and adds a monster to Arkham. The remaining symbols provide movement, clues, healing, and combat actions. Players must coordinate how to use these results while collecting and closing six gates. Opening six gates causes an immediate loss; closing six awakens Cthulhu, who must then be defeated using the players’ remaining items and abilities.
