A role-playing game set in a mythical version of medieval Europe where magic is real and wizards shape events. Players portray magi, along with companions and other supporting characters, exploring the setting, pursuing personal goals, and using a detailed system of medieval magic. Wizards are deliberately more powerful than other character types, and many magical terms are drawn from medieval Latin.
