Astronomical Observatory

A large, remote observatory, probably built in the 19th century, stands beneath the night sky. It contains two domes housing optical telescopes, one large and one small, along with rooms whose purposes may change as equipment is updated. The isolated setting supports mystery, horror, near-future science-fiction, and post-apocalyptic adventures. It can be used as an active research facility, a refuge, or an abandoned site occupied by new inhabitants.
