Players compete to build valuable museum collections by acquiring exhibits at auction. Each lot may be an original, damaged, or a forgery, with its true status often revealed only after purchase, so players weigh risk when bidding. Money management, set collection, and timing of bids drive play. Players may freely trade exhibits, cash, and special cards and negotiate agreements, introducing a diplomatic layer to the auctions and deal-making.
