FRICO

A humorous cultural conflict pits the municipalities of Friuli against the districts of Trieste, with the Bisiacheria serving as a neutral buffer zone. Players compete to conquer Friuli Venezia Giulia using regional traditions and cultural references. Each turn, players draw a card from their faction deck, gain reinforcements based on the territories they control, and move a group of armies into an adjacent territory. Attacks are resolved by comparing one die roll for the attacker with one for the defender, with the higher result winning. Players may attack as often as they choose and use cards to gain advantages or hinder opponents.
