Gulyás

Players compete as chefs at a gulyás festival, taking part in a shared cooking round after round while pursuing individual victory points. On a turn a player chooses between three actions: add an ingredient card to the cauldron, distract a Local to prevent theft, or stir the soup (which affects card draw). Each player holds a private ingredient and the active player draws another to choose from; played ingredients go face down, so the pot’s exact value is hidden. Locals can steal ingredients if not distracted, and players may call out that the gulyás is ready. If a player declares the soup finished, the total is revealed and success or failure awards victory points; players can also guess whether specified Gourmet conditions are met to earn bonus points. The first to reach the target total of victory points wins.
